The recent results for MyQUEST 2014/2015 have been released and Jesselton College, Sabah has achieved outstanding results. Jesselton College has received the recognition of 4-star MyQUEST ratings in terms of College-Based and in the clusters of Social Science, Business & Law as well as Engineering, Manufacturing & Construction.
MyQUEST (or â€œMalaysian Quality Evaluation System for Private Collegesâ€) is developed by the Education Ministry to provide a wider access towards achieving a better quality of higher education system in Malaysia. Jesselton Collegeâ€™s coveted 4-star ratings in three categories put the college in a very select group of high-performing private colleges in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In line with the collegeâ€™s aim to be rated as a 5-star private college in Sabah, Jesselton College is committed to provide quality education of choice and become an international centre of educational excellence.
According to the Higher Education Ministry secretary-general Dato’ Seri Ir Dr Zaini Ujang, a total of 207 private colleges did not participate in the MyQuest evaluation. However, the said colleges are now required to enter their complete data into the MyQuest system, latest by 15 December 2015. Dr Zaini also added that there was an improvement in the overall ratings of the 2014/2015 evaluation session.
