Workplace safety is the responsibility of everyone in an organization. Companies have legal obligations to meet certain safety requirements, but many go further than the minimum obligations. Safety standards and procedures must be put in place, and everyone needs to follow the standards in order for them to be effective. Our Safety in The Workplace course will be instrumental in reviewing common hazards, safety techniques and after completion, the participants will have the tools to help them create a Safety policy for your work place. By identifying and anticipating hazards, employers can prevent injuries and keep employees safe whether in the head office or at the construction sites.
Learning Outcome:
By applying the information presented, the participants will be able to present and translate in writing the organized, clear, concise reports based on the complex data and findings. A comprehensive handbook cum workbook is provided for each participant where they will find templates to help them structure the report. The writing tasks will be given via a step by step approach on the different parts of the different types of reports. Emphasis will also be on the grammar, vocabulary usage and useful phrases of report writing.
Learning Outcome:
The operation and maintenance personnel around a power plant or pumping plant are not presumed to be fire fighters, but occasionally their duties may make it necessary for them to fight fires. The purpose of this volume is to supply them with fundamental facts which may prove valuable in such an emergency and acquaint them will the use, care and testing of firefighting equipment.
Learning Outcome:
This PPE Training course is designed to familiarise employers, senior staff, and employees with all the fundamental aspects of PPE that is used in work environments. The course looks at legislation relating to PPE, the various types of PPE that protect workers from hazards, and how to determine the need for PPE. With this knowledge, learners will be fully prepared to select and use PPE properly so health and safety is upheld at work.

Identify the types of PPE.
Know the basics of conducting a “hazard assessment” of the workplace.
Select appropriate PPE for a variety of circumstances.
Identify what kind of training is needed in the proper use and care of PPE.
