MyBrain15 is a programme for financing postgraduate studies by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). It is a Critical Agenda Project under the National Higher Education Strategic Plan and the objective is to increase the number of highly knowledgeable human capitals for the purpose of enhancing research, development and innovation.
Programmes offered: MyMaster, MyPhd and Industrial PhD.
MyMaster
Eligibility:
Malaysian citizens
Unemployed graduates without fixed income/employees of the private sectors/private higher educational institution lecturers
Have obtained a bachelor degree with the minimum CGPA as required by MOHE
Obtained unconditional offer letter from the university
Fulfilled the age requirement as determined by MOHE
Level of study: Master
Sponsored field of study: Business Administration as listed in the MyBrain15 website.
Incentives given: Tuition fees not exceeding RM10K per student for the period of 6 to 24 months.
MyPhd
Eligibility:
Malaysian citizens
Unemployed graduates without fixed income/employees of the private sectors/private higher educational institution lecturers
Have obtained a Master’s Degree or bachelor Degree with the minimum CGPA as required by MOHE
Obtained unconditional offer letter from the university
Fulfilled the age requirements as determined by MOHE
Level of study: PhD
Sponsored field of study: Science & Technology and Social Sciences/Arts listed in the MyBrain15 website.
Incentives given: Tuition fees not exceeding RM24K per student for the period of 6 to 48 months. An additional living allowances of RM2,300 per month for eligible candidates.
Industrial PhD
Eligibility:
Malaysian citizens
Executives who are working in the industry and directly involved with research, development, innovation and responsible for the enhancement of competitiveness of the industry
Level of study: PhD
Priority research areas: Engineering, Science and Technology
Incentives given: Tuition fees not exceeding RM50K per student for a period not more than 48 months
Application
Application is opened throughout the year until 2018.
MyMaster and MyPhd: application must be made online via MyBrain15 website.
Industrial PhD: application must be submitted to Scholarship Division, MOHE through Graduate School
The result of the application will be notified to the applicants via email
