1. Bottom Financial Quantile Admission Target

We are committed to creating equal opportunities for students from all socioeconomic backgrounds. As part of our mission to promote accessibility and inclusivity, we have set a targeted admission goal to enrol students from the bottom 20% of household income, identified as B1 and B2 categories with household income below RM3169.

What does 'Bottom 20%' mean?

When we refer to the 'bottom 20%', we are specifically targeting students whose household income falls within the B1 and B2 categories. These categories encompass individuals and families with a household income below RM3169. By focusing our efforts on this group, we aim to address the unique challenges and barriers faced by students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Supporting Students from the Bottom 20%:

We understand that students from the bottom 20% often face financial constraints that can hinder their access to higher education. We are dedicated to supporting and empowering these students through a range of initiatives designed to remove financial barriers and ensure their success.

We offer the following for students:

  • Financial Aid and Scholarships
  • Mentorship Programs
  • Academic Support Services

We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities and empowering students from all walks of life to achieve their dreams and make a difference in the world. We invite students from the bottom 20% to explore the range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and supportive networks available at JUC. Together, we can create a brighter future for all students, regardless of their financial circumstances.
