The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with Special Education (Honours) program equips educators with the specialized knowledge and pedagogical competencies required to support diverse learners during their foundational years. The curriculum blends early childhood developmental theory with targeted interventions for neurodivergent children and individuals with disabilities. Through structured lectures, inclusive classroom simulations, developmental screening workshops, and practicum placements in both inclusive preschools and specialized learning centers, students gain expertise in differentiated instruction, individualized education planning, behavioral support, and collaborative family partnerships.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with Special Education (Honours) program are well prepared to pursue advanced academic pathways, with seamless internal progression opportunities within our institution as well as across external academic institutions.

Master of Education (Education Management): This pathway is tailored for educators aspiring to step into executive leadership. The program deepens administrative expertise in educational policy, school governance, strategic planning, human resource leadership, and institutional financial oversight, preparing graduates to manage large preschool franchises, private learning academies, or specialized education departments.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education: Upon completion of their master degree, alumni can transition into advanced doctoral research. Candidates conduct independent, rigorous inquiry into early childhood development, inclusive pedagogy, educational systems, or organizational leadership, positioning themselves for university faculty appointments, advisory boards, and senior policy advisory roles.
Graduates who wish to pursue specialized clinical, behavioral, or psychological disciplines have the foundation required to enter various external postgraduate programs across public and private universities locally and internationally:
Master of Education in Special Education or Inclusive Pedagogy
Master of Science in Child Psychology or Developmental Psychology
Master of Guidance and Counseling
Specialized professional certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Play Therapy, or Early Intervention Practice
Following the completion of a relevant Master’s degree by coursework, mixed mode, or research, graduates can further advance their research and academic credentials by pursuing a Doctoral degree (Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Education) in specialized areas of early years and special needs education.
In the final year, students will complete a Undergraduate Research project under the supervision of a faculty member. This project allows students to integrate their knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program and conduct original research in an area of interest within early childhood education.
