Jesselton University College Holds Productive Meeting with YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad

Jesselton University College (JUC) was honored to have a courtesy visit with YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, during which a fruitful discussion took place on JUC’s vital role in contributing to the development of the Higher Education industry. The meeting aimed to explore ways to enhance the quality of education and address issues related to poverty eradication.

During the meeting, JUC’s Board of Governors (BoG) engaged in in-depth deliberations with YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, focusing on the institution’s commitment to providing quality education to its students. The discussion emphasized JUC’s dedication to ensuring inclusive and equitable access to education, aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Number 4, Quality Education.

Furthermore, the conversation also extended to address the pressing issue of poverty eradication, in line with SDG Number 1, No Poverty. JUC expressed its determination to contribute to societal transformation by empowering students with education and skills, providing them with opportunities to uplift their lives and escape the cycle of poverty.

The visit was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including YB Senator Dato’ Armand Azha Abu Hanifah, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, YBhg. Prof. Datin Dr. Noor Hamizah Hanifah, and Prof. Dato’ Dr. Fred Y F Chin. Together, they emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration and synergy between the government, educational institutions, and various stakeholders to drive meaningful changes in the higher education landscape and address socioeconomic challenges.
