A delegation from Jesselton University College (JUC), Malaysia, led by Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. David Sze Tat Fai, paid an official visit to Jining University (济宁学院) in Qufu, Shandong, to strengthen international engagement and explore new pathways for academic collaboration.
The JUC delegation was received by Mr. Zhao Ming, Vice President of Jining University and Member of the University Party Committee. He welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of the university’s development history, academic strengths, faculty capacity, research achievements, and globalization strategy. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Li Gang, Dean of the International Education School, with relevant officers from the college in attendance.
During the discussion, Prof. Dr. David Sze Tat Fai introduced JUC’s geographical location, programme offerings, and talent development approach. Both institutions exchanged views on potential cooperation in key areas such as Hotel and Tourism Management, Psychology, and Education, and discussed possible initiatives including academic exchanges, student mobility, joint programmes, and other practical collaboration formats.
The visit further strengthened the relationship between JUC and Jining University and laid a positive foundation for turning cooperation ideas into tangible outcomes. Both parties expressed a shared commitment to continued dialogue and working toward early deliverables.
